FedEx was weird last week

Last week, FedEx delivered three items I ordered from Harbor Freight. They put two right against our storm door which blocked my wife and daughter in the house until I got home and they delivered the third box to my neighbor with whom I barely speak and has a different house number. Ticked me off royally.

Out of the major delivery services (USPS, FedEx, and UPS), Fed Ex is absolutely the worst around here. I think it's because their drivers come all the way from Pueblo and aren't local.

This was a little while back, but I had a FedEx driver give me my next door neighbor's package to give to him when he got home from work. No problem. But after I thought about it, what if I was not friendly with my neighbor and decided to keep his package? I didn't sign for anything, the driver just asked if I would give to them when they got home. I wouldn't want FedEx leaving my packages with someone else, good neighbor or not. Not a good business practice.

My Fedex guy will not leave anything without a signature. Now UPS is another story. Years ago I ordered a suede jacket by phone from a catalogue. After about 3 weeks I called the vendor and they said it shipped and was delivered. I told them it was not delivered. Back and forth with UPS to no avail. After 3 months the company agrees to send me another jacket. A month later I decided to clean my Igloo cooler that was in front of the garage. Lo and behold, there's a box in the cooler. It was the original jacket, none the worse for wear except one little water spot on the sleeve. I guess the driver thought it was a cool jacket.
