I have to follow through and comment on the latest 4 additions . . .

1. The Keating Chinook - I'm assuming this is intended to fill a skinning role (blade shape), in which case it will be better in a frontlock format. Titanium scales could become slippery when wet or gunked-up, a textured finish would look, and work, great. Is this one going to be a clip, or belt pouch?

2. The Bob Lum Chinese - My current favourite. I've been tempted for ages to place an order for one of these directly with Bob, but now I might have a choice! In its smaller version I think it might become a serious competitor to the Calypso Jr. Not crazy about the titanium handles, I think they look cold, but G-10, or burgundy/dark green micarta would do the trick for me. I think the scalloped / scooped thumb guide looks good.

3. The Dyad - An under-rated design, improved by having the larger sized option. Not sure how it feels in the hand under heavy use. I prefer the mini-Dyad zytel pattern design to the Calypso Jr. lightweight. I find the plain edge sheepsfoot blade quite appealing.

4. The Wallpaper - Is already on my PC . . . I think it is brilliant, and would like to see more composite pics being put together for marketing / promotion purposes.

Looking at all of them together on the wallpaper . . . the Ulu and SpyderCard stand out because they are a little outrageous! . . . but I have to admit that the Native Chief catches my eye, despite my having a soft spot for the Lum. Interesting.

P.S. A big thanks to James for the excellent pics!

Regards, HILTON
