Feedback on this Case tested XX Carson knife

Hope I'm posting this on the right section. I was wondering if anyone can let me know if they have seen this knife in a wood handle. I searched on the web but can't find it anywhere. I would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

I know the sheath is not original but was wondering or can get an opinion on what you guys think of the handle on the knife.

Take a look at the sub-forum "Bernard Levine's Knife Collecting & Identification" here on BladeForums.com. I had a similar old knife, a family heirloom that i will cherish forever, and got a ton of great feedback and history from the folks on that forum.
