Feedback please...

Thanks! The light placement and strength have been the primary
difficulty. Varying the diffusers has helped the most.
The one thing I am not sure of yet is varying the ISO setting. I am beginning to believe that the 200 is better than the 400.
Varying the angle of the mirror on the front kickplate has also helped in reducing hot streaks. Regarding the reflections in the blade, arrgghhh! they drive me nuts!:) I have yet to figure out one of them. Oh well, tomorrow will be better.

By the way, Dr Molenaar stopped over this afternoon and saw all of the constructive comments you guys have made. He was quite impressed at your willingness to help a new guy.

Thanks guys,

OK, this is the last batch. I promise I will not post any more on this thread:)

Look at Dr Molenaar test12 batch.

I realize I need some front light or the mirror to light up the front of the handle. For some reason I simply did not use it in this batch. I did in batch 11.

I was going to list this one for sale for Dr Molenaar but then I saw the cracked red spacer. How I missed that all this time I do not know. Oh well...

let me know if the pic's are good enough to use in the Custom Makers For Sale area.
BTW, this is hand forged 5160, hollow ground, Tasmainian Blackwood Burl handle with Brass guard , butt cap, spacers and red spacers.

Thanks again,
