Feelin like I need some grooves on my blades however I am Mill Less. Anyone with a mill care to do some Blood groove work on some blades?
Would be much appreciated!
The steel is D2 that is approx 1 1/4" wide by 6" long and 5/32nds thick and is soft.
Let me know what you need as far as compensation or maybe some trading of work. PM me thru the board if you can help.
Thanks
Robert

i work at a machine shop and have moved my whole knife shop to my work :D. I could bang it out for you, i am a sucker for handle materal ;)

You can make a groover/fullering scraper. This is one I made a few months ago just from some scraps. The blade is 1095 and and I few others I made from CPM Rex 76. Each blade can have two different profiles on each end. It can also use 1/4" and 3/8" lathe chisles.

Video of it in action.
