Feeling naked on a business trip!

I don't really care if a city is knife friendly or not or the size of the blade allowed. My small sebenza is like a comfort thing to me. If its my pocket I feel secure. I would just leave it in my pocket and never take it out in public. If only I didn't have to pay for checking a bag!!!! Pretty soon we will be paying fees for carry on bags and then a fee for using the restroom on the plane.

I didn't take any blades with me on my recent trip, so as some have said I used it as an excuse to buy me a leek from walmart. it's a good thing i didn't have time to hit a real store, I'm sure i would have picked up something a little nicer.

Why not pick up a SAK when you arrive at your destination? Good knives, very affordable, non-threatening and easy to find in almost any hardware/sporting goods shop...

When it's time to go back home, a SAK makes a fine gift for a local associate... even non-knife folks like SAKs :)

Im going on a buisness trip this sunday for a week. I've already looked up where the local gun shops are so I can buy myself a carry for the trip ;).

This helps me on my trips to the airport. At least can be used as a defensive striking weapon.

Doesn't cut worth a flip though. Been through Houston, LAX, Heathrow, Zambia, Ecuador, Vienna, Odessa Ukraine, and Canada (and a few places I can't remember) and never has raised an eyebrow.

Doc -- it's good to hear that you've been able to travel so extensively with the Defender. I have an E2D myself, but have been reticent to travel with it for fear of confiscation by an over-exuberant TSA employee. I've been more inclined to carry my somewhat larger but less aggressively contoured Gladius.

That E2D is accompanying me on my next trip!

Now that's some forward planning!!!! I'm going to start doing this! Makes business trips something to look forward to!
