There is a lot of sexy Ti going on in that video. How's the Lochsa? Is it magical? :D

Trix2004 - how's that BM 710 Gold Class treating you? I just ordered one tonight.

i think this is best 710 so far , much better quality f/f over regular .
but I cant push myself to use it so cant talk about steel .
..
Kasper 4inch blade also on my favorites .

I posted this as part of a review for the 2nd knife from the left -- a Pohl Force H3 Alpha 2. It is borrowed, but the others are mine:

The Lochsa is a great knife. I think every custom collector should at least handle one at some point. Right now my favorite is my Tom Mayo covert though! That knife is especially smooth, even for a Mayo.

I hear you - not sure if mine will become a safe queen or a user. I don't own a 710, so I imagine it will do some time in my pocket...it looks like a sweet knife.

The 710 is an amazing knife. I just picked up an M390 version that I was going to shelve, but once I held it, the urge to honor it through use was overpowering. I have a black version on the way and it will be a 'user' too.

I've made a few addition to my collection lately. I got a couple french Douk Douks in paris and I've started flipping balisongs again lately. One knife of note is the Endura on the left 3rd up from the bottom, that's the knife that started it all. I loved that spyderco until i snapped the tip off the damn thing, I fixed it with a dermal.

Here is my small collection.

From top to bottom:

Frost Cutlery Firefighter
Found in a field and currently my every day beater

SOG Flash II
Currently relegated to drawer duty because it's missing part of the pivot.

No name folder purchased from a flea market years ago for $5. I like the carving on it so it sits in the drawer.

Not included in the pics are:

Schrade Walden MC1 Military Parachute knife with Dayglow Orange Scales
Schrade 735 Mariner w/ spike
Schrade CH7 that is my box cutter/opener

All bought from the same flea market as the no name folder for less than $25 total.

Haven't tried a Mayo yet, but my Lochsa is an amazing knife, Chris Reeve heritage is evident but the "magic" of the monoblock contoured handle, the rock solid lock, and the flawlessly ground blade makes it the best in my collection. The Mnandi is a close second, only because it doesn't have the magic of the monoblock handle.
