i think this is best 710 so far , much better quality f/f over regular .
but I cant push myself to use it so cant talk about steel .
I hear you - not sure if mine will become a safe queen or a user. I don't own a 710, so I imagine it will do some time in my pocket...it looks like a sweet knife.


Haven't tried a Mayo yet, but my Lochsa is an amazing knife, Chris Reeve heritage is evident but the "magic" of the monoblock contoured handle, the rock solid lock, and the flawlessly ground blade makes it the best in my collection. The Mnandi is a close second, only because it doesn't have the magic of the monoblock handle.The Lochsa is a great knife. I think every custom collector should at least handle one at some point. Right now my favorite is my Tom Mayo covert though! That knife is especially smooth, even for a Mayo.
