Feeling sick! I think I lost my first knife

I get on my knees and pray to St. Anthony. However I set the record for dropping knives and sunglasses from Slicks in the jungle. I singlehandidly supplied the VC Gerber MK2's. Whoops became the family motto.

As soon as you forget about it, it'll turn up. That's how it usually works for me.

I bought two 204P Paramilitaries. One to keep and use, and one to sell to help offset the cost.

I put the one I planned on using in a drawer, and I left the other one in the flat mailer it came it. Then I got really high and did some cleaning. Then I was missing the second 204p Paramilitary.

SO, I sold the second one and have lost money and have no knife.

The #1 place that knives end up is to the right of the driver's seat in your car, way down low next where the seat bolts to the floor. Right there between the seat frame and the console. Knives love to hide there. Look there real good, and then get in the back seat and bend down real low and look with a flashlight. Link. I want you to send me a Victorinox Classic SD - used is fine - when you find your knife where I said it was.

That's what you get for moving to Denver. If I lived out there I'd probably never remember where anything was.

I seem lose (not misplace in my room somewhere) more than the average number of knives so trust me when I say it's just a good reason to buy a new knife.

Philisophical Response: There is a Bhuddist saying, "The plate is already broken." This is to remind us of the impermanent nature of life. Once we accept and embrace this impermanence, it becomes much easier to detatch oneself from the physical world of desire and suffering.

So, uhh... Just buy a new knife, and if you find the old one (I never do), consider it a bonus! :D

The plate is already broken. I like that and will see if I can utilize in my daily thoughts.

Well my friends, new update and is bad. I have officially stripped every square inch of my 1 bedroom apartment. If the knife would fit I would check it out and it is definitely not in the house. The 2 possibilities are that I either left it outside by the grill and someone took it or I dropped it somewhere outside and someone also took it. I have spend more that 5 hours searching for it and is not in the car (which I cleaned very well 2 weeks ago so there is no clutter), inside the dirty laundry, garbage, freezer, under bed, inside pillow cases, shoes, drawers, couch or toilet tank LOL.
I officially give up.
Story? learn from me and do drink to the point you can't recall what the heck you did with your knife :-(
Thanks fro the support and understanding.
It was a very sweet knife and definitely don't regret spending that much money in a knife though; just regret being stupid!
Cheers

We just found my buddies lost ipod from 3 years ago in our garage. He got drunk and put it in a bucket, and that bucket got another bucket put ontop of it, so it wasn't seen until I was doing some serious cleaning. Hope you find your knife quicker than we found that ipod...

But remember, if it's gone forever:
1) Someone else now likely has a kick ass knife, and it made their day when they found it. So without knowing it, you made a complete stranger really happy, and good karma is on it's way to you.
2) You get to buy a new knife to replace it! Choose wisely :p

Lol I would Send you a new one but unfortunately every place I have checked I have done so with 500 lumens and I have done it OCD style 3-4 times.
Believe me when I say I have look at every inch of every single place it could have been by now :(
Thanks though ;)

Yeah that's how I see it. The world is round and around we go; left my pocket and found someone's else :)
No knife buying though. I still have to finish paying for it... Ugh....

I had no proof and the cable company wasn't going to help since " it was just a pocket knife " and " I could have misplaced it "

the only proof I had was it was there when he came and gone when he left I didn't see him take it or anything .

I have misplaced my favorite Benchmade and it is killing me. So, I know how you feel. My connection to my knives is strong so I feel like it is in my house, a car or my office. Reason to tidy up. Hope you find your knife.

Unfortunately I don't agree with the above posters. I think if someone found it, they're going to sell it. What would you do if you found something you didn't care about, and saw it was worth $600+?

I say it'll end up on ebay, craigslist, or in a pawn shop.
