Fehrman Final Judgement or Extreme Judgement

Dinges, as Sufler said, Fehrman has been around for quite some time, they are not new. The problem is that the only hard test of a Fehrman ended up being not so good results. And there has been no real testing to show how good Fehrmans are, unlike Busse's which are abused daily. But I am sure that Fehrmans product is top notch and more than enough toughness.

Jason, sounds like the extreme is the better of the two.

The Final is a fine knife, but too narrow for my taste. The Extreme just screams "use me!!". While I don't do "torture test", I am not kind nor gentle.... In what I have done, the Extreme has never let me down and I am a die hard Busse fan. The Extreme sit among the best of my users. And while I don't throw it with any sort of accuracy I have thrown the hell out of it

Cobalt,

I'm not familiar with this test. Do you happen to have a link?

Thanks!

No, I don't, but it was one of those tests, that led to locked threads etc. Really not worth rehashing and I believe that Gravelface just gave it a pretty good word if it is even close to Busse, it's worth it

as mentioned before, I just got my Peacemaker a couple of weeks ago and I agree with everything that has been said so far. They are amazing, I have never seen a more precise fit and finish and, like many of you guys, I've had and still have some very expensive knives.
The steel outperforms everything I have ever seen.
My only complaint is that they don't come up with new designs, I guess that's just not their policy.
My next one will be a Thru Hiker and maybe an Extreme Judgement (that or a Killa Zilla).

I actually like the fact that they keep their designs. I wish other makers would do this, caugh, caugh ;)

They are a tool and die maker, they make knives because Eric likes them. I also like the fact that they keep the same designs too.

1. I agree with all the positive comments.

2. I also wish the Final Judgment were 2 or more inches wide. It lacks the proportions of some of the other models.

3. I have an unused FJ for sale here.
