Sage 1 came this week....
I think I need the 2 now.
Btw...I amost never lose things, I have knives from the 70's,but last year I lost a small seb :( I think I have found the replacement. I find it hard to put a 300 plus dollar knife in my pocket everyday...

In my limited time with each, I have to pick the Sage 2 in titanium. It's more elegant and dressier.

As for types of CF finishes, I like the smooth satin finished CF of my Caly 3 better than the rough CF of the Sage 1. Just personal preference. But, that could change, too. :)

If I had to pick only one, I'd likely pick the Ti as well. But, I continue to carry the CF. And, whenever I EDC something, I have to have two of them (at least). To that end, I have been trying to trade for another BNIB Sage 1, but without luck. So I broke down and ordered a new one -- should be here Saturday. . . .

you guys really make me tempt getting Sage 1. However I am fighting against urge and will continue my love affair with Spyderco Slipits and FFG Delica 4. Awesome pictures. I love the Design of Sage as it reminds Caly 3 and UKPK, which latter is one of my favourite EDC's ever...
 
Thanks for the compliment, Jani. I'm lovin' the Sages -- I have a second Sage 1 incoming, and I want to pick up another Sage 2 so that I have 2 of each (because that's just how I roll!).

Pick one up, you won't regret it!
 
My Sage 2 came in yesterday. I love it, I like how low it sits in the pocket especially. All the good things I heard about the clip are true and it feels great in the hand with my index finger in the choil. I'll probably end up with the whole sage collection eventually
 
Well, you guys did it to me too. I had to get both Sages to add to my collection. Got them in yesterday, and I'm very happy with the quality. These are my first from Taiwan, but not the last. Waiting on my Gayle Bradley now.
