I do remember making that one for a guy in Desoto, Kansas. I cannot remember the exact year, but it has
been at least ten years since I made it. The steel is S30V and I believe I have only made two of those,
one was a satin finish and then this one is the handrubbed finish. I swore I'd never hand rub a blade that size again, and S30V to boot!!
I hope you enjoy it, she is quite a chopper!
