Last night, I spoke with a good friend of mine who, together with his wife, are going through a VERY tough time. I told him that they would all be in my prayers and I ask that they be in yours as well.
My friend Ernest and his wife were about 23 weeks along in their pregnancy when some medical problems arose that required her to be given some medicine to actually prevent her from having the baby at this time. She was actually beginning to go into labor at a little over five months along. Due to some more complications, the doctors had no choice but to deliver the baby last night. He weighed only 1 lb. and is eleven inches long.
To make matters worse for them, the doctors suggested to 'make preparations' since the baby is so premature.
What can one say to comfort a good friend in a situation like this?
Please keep him and his family in your prayers....they really need a little help from above at this time.
