Felt naked

I have the boot knife and jungle spike. They're basically heavy plastic and you can't really sharpen them. There is only minor resistance to deformation, and I feel they are only good as a last resort, one-good-hit-in-the-right-place shanks. Definitely not useful for any tool purpose I can think of.

that's what i was thinking, i'll probably still take the 15dollar chance. it's just i remember seeing a "CIA letter openener" that had been hammered through a piece of 1/2" plywood. also, i was at a gunshow, and a guy who was selling some magic 5dollar sharpener, showed a CIA letter openener that he had used the sharpener on and it seemed to have an edge. so i was holding out hope that maybe these items were better than i'd guess.

oh well, guess i'll keep searching for the Glock 7 :D

btw- i've been "wanded" while carrying my Nimravus, 710, and a sure fire 8AX Commander. i passed through.

My man I feel your pain! The Fox got me as well for a Gerber multi tool. No snow at the time and when I returned to the spot my piece was gone. Great show but a bittersweet night overall.

Get a belt with a huge metal buckle, and then slide your SHEATHED knife down your pants right behind it, and it won't be really noticed behind the buckle. At least I don't think so.
