Felt wheel polishing questions

Any particular techniques? What grit polish do you use and size wheel?
how much is enough?

I use a medium felt wheel, but only as a last step in sharpening.
IMO, you would be better off with cotton buffs for polishing.
A felt wheel can really cut in to your material, if you are not careful.
