Fem Flip? Any (other) women in the bunch?

We have Susan, but are there any other women in the crowd? I just see your screen names, and with th abbiguity they present (SniperBOY), i have to wonder. So, are there any female flippsters out there?

On a more general note, however, many women seem to enjoy flipping the bali when shown how. It could be the whole "puzzle" element. Could be.

Perhaps I should start approaching women this way..."Hey, want to learn how to use a butterfly knife?"

Or not. I'm going now.

I would take a different approach, and call it a balisong. That sidesteps the "knife" issue for a little while. No point in calling it a knife if it doesn't have a functional cutting edge (only my trainers are ground and taped), right?

Funny thing is, two girls have expressed interest in learning how to flip. I didn't have a trainer for one, and the other was visiting for only a short time, so I didn't get to show either.

I've actually taught about a dozen women over the years...... ALL X-girlfriends now

I just started teaching a Portugese girl at work (another future X-girlfriend?? LOL).

She's catching on pretty quick and is quite obsessed at this point. I gave her, her very own Balisong tonight......... she was thrilled!! She walked around work all night flipping that thing.

Now I understand a little better why everyone at work looks at me strange.

......... now, if I could only get them all to join us here in the forums. What a fine bunch of stories that would make for.
