Some time back-year maybe-there was a survey on Forum membership. Males comprised like 95% of Forum members. So this is not just limited to the Balisong lovers. I don't think this is a good indicator however of female interest in knives just participation in forums. My wife although sweet and petite likes knives and guns, is deadly with a blade because she has more of a killer instinct then I do. But she has no interest at all in going online and mixing it up in the forum. I think there are a lot of others like her. I'm not sure of the reason for this.In addition we're always insulting and arguing with each other so maybe thats why they don't participate as much or as sniperboy mentioned just lurk.

I have to agree with 2Sharp, she is just about the coolest person I know!!!

I AM SORRY BUT:
I think that recently the quality of this forum has significantly dropped. (Some of the reason are posts like this one) Really this is one of the reasons that I don't post as much as I used to on the Balisong forum -- Everything is going down hill as compared to even a few months ago. I am sorry but something had to be said (even though I did not go into depth something was said).

I could tell you a story that took place many thousands of years ago in ancient Isreal. The Hebrews and the Palistines were having a rock fight one day. A lot like they are still having over there now and we see it on the news. Then the PLO come up with what they though was a brillent idea. How about if our best man fights your best man and we settle this thing once and for all. So they put Golieth forward, because he was the biggest dude they had. At first the Hebrews were afraid and no one wanted to take him on. But as fate would have it, David steped forward and said he would fight Golieth. The funny thing was, David was the smallest guy the Hebrews had. But he said I have killed a bear and a lion, and I can kill Golieth also, because God is on my side. So David got 5 smooth stones out of the river and grabbed his sling shot to go take on the big dude. Goleith saw David coming with his sling shot and stone, and laughed at him. He said what am I a dog, your going to throw stones at me. But then David smacked him in the head with a stone and knocked him out. David then used Golieth's own sword to cut off his head. The king was so pleased that David got to keep the fancy sword, but also, the King gave David his daughter for marriage. So David got the knife and the girl, all with one stone. this isnt exactly on topic, but it's not totally off either.

today a girl friend (note that it's two words) of mine and I went to this indoor flea market place. I happened to see a bali, so I picked it up and I figured why not. So I did one of my favorite most complicated routines and she was like "how....the hell....do you know that...". it was great.

amazing that I didn't mess up though.
 
nope, outbid at the last minute. Just like damn near always. went for 220DM, I bid 215. went to Warbird1946. I don't know if he had any trouble with customs. I think that I was just parinoid.

There are so many perfectly good reasons to hate people on an individual basis, that it is kinda dumb to lump them all in one group and say "I hate all you guys".
 
Agent A, The information you have provided has come as a shock to me. Now that you've claimed that I am female I guess I need to sell all of my boxers and get used to sitting when I do my business. For your information, I am MALE hence the fact that in my profile my occupation is as a bodyMAN and one of my interests is GIRLS. This is a place we share our craziness of bali and given the hatred we (balisongers) got from government, customs, etc, why don't we go relax and smile and
