I know like me, many of yall are not only knife nuts, but also flashlight nuts. Up until about a year ago, I'd been surefire or nothing... but when a friend asked me to find him a good quality high output LED flashlight that ran on AAs I recommended a Fenix LD20. Although I had never even held a fenix light, I had heard they were pretty solid. When he got the thing and showed it to me I was blown away. The brightness and throw was just as good if not better than either of my surefires, and it felt just about as tough.

Recently I got a Fenix TK10 for the specific purpose as my AR weaponlight (pics will be posted soon once the mount comes in). Again I am floored by the output and feel of durability (It was $58, and puts my $175 SF L4 to shame at longer distances).

Needless to say, I'm sold. I will have an LD10 and 20 as my next flashlight purchases soon. Do any of you guys or gals have any experiences with Fenix lights? I'd especially like to hear any testaments to their durability.

i have been EDC'ing my fenix L2T for about a year. hasnt let me down yet and is really bright.

I had a T1 tactical, pretty similar to TK10, it was an awesome light, and a good decision.;) Congrats to you.
Fenix Rocks:)

( now i carry a Nitecore deender daily:))

LD20! The ability to take AA batteries is a big plus! My dad was floored and took my first one for his pack!

I bought a Fenix L2D about 2-1/2 years on the recommendation of Rock6 (W&SS). I use it every day, at work and other. Great light!

I am looking at the new Quark AA's though.

Doc

I also have a Fenix LD20, great light, I have the one with the Q5 LED, my dad was so impressed with it and the E01 that I gave him a couple months ago (has been his EDC light the last couple months) He got the LD20+ last week with the R4 LED which is a little bluer than mine I noticed, anyway love the EO1 (have one on my keychain that I've rinsed off while doing dished just to get the dust out of it, its getting kinda scratched up and i've probably used it about 15 hours total and still on its first battery. My dad uses his E01 much more often and he's just on his second.

I have a few around here, the E20, LD10, and an older L2P. Also have the Quark AA and AA2. The Quark lights are every bit as good as Fenix. I do like the square threads on the Quark, less chance of stripping a tail cap. I always take the smaller LD10 or Quark AA with me when I'm heading out for the evening. I use rechargeable NIMH AA batteries and have never looked back:)

so you guys would reccommend the EO1? looks like a good key chain light and good price?

Yeah I own several E01s and they are great little lights. Put a lithium battery in that thing and it will run forever.

I EDC a PD30 and own several other Fenix lights. Super bright and super reliable while being pretty tough. But none of them hold a candle to my SF Lx2 :D

I love my LX2. :)

Bought a new PD20 with the R2 bulb last week. Being so close to the Fenix factory, I got it for a good price from a local retail store: $50. :)

I went to Fenix lights about 2 years ago-E20,L2D,& Quark 123. I had a few Surefire's but the prices were too high and not much development. Surefire lights are good but being a blue collar worker the Fenix lights are more affordable and just as good. JMHO

I carried a LD20 in Iraq for almost a year. Loved it. Been replaced since with the new style LD20. Why because destroyed the other one with a leaking battery. My fault. These are awesome lights.

I've had a L2D-Q5 (2AA) for 2 years now and I'm still amazed by it's output.

Definitely use lithium batteries to prevent damage from leakage.
