Ferrum Forge Knife Works Veloz Maker's Choice - SOLD
Received this knife today. It isn't my style and after some thought, I simply can't justify keeping it if I don't absolutely love it.
All that being said, the craftsmanship is excellent on this one. It flips absurdly well and deploys rapidly with the thumbstuds due to the perfectly adjusted ceramic Hoback Rolling Detent. The pictures won't do the anodizing justice as there is bronze/purple under the green that gives it a very cool color-shift look. CTS-XHP blade is perfectly centered and lock-up is early.
Includes zippered pouch with FFKW tag.
Specs from FFKW website: 3.15in CTS-XHP (60-61 RHC) blade full titanium handle, Full titanium hardware, the Skull clip (also ti) and custom made copper thumbstuds. Blade thickness is .175in, like all our knives, and the weight is 5.1oz ( for reference the 228 is 7.36oz). They run on caged bearings, have steel lock insert with over travel arrestor, and the ceramic HRD.
