Up for sale is a used, blue Contours version of the Ferrum Forge Septer for $300.00.
I purchased this knife new from BladeHQ making me the first owner. I have carried and used this knife and the finish has worn on the blade, the pocket clip and the end of the handle just above the clip.
I sharpened it to 18 dps on my Wicked Edge sharpener finishing at the 3.5 strop more or less giving it a mirror polish that slices smoothly through cardboard. (The sharpening extended to the area between the choil and the ricasso.)
One of the original screws stripped so I sent it in to Ferrum Forge and they replaced all six screws: the two holding in the stop pin, the holding holding in the stand off and the two holding on the pocket clip; I have not taken it apart since. The knife is equipped with the adjustable Hoback Rolling Detent and currently set to have a reasonably firm detent.
The flipping action is fast and smooth and hasn't failed to deploy. The blade is perfectly centered with no play in any direction. The lockup is approximately 30% and the section of the tang that meets the lock bar is slightly concave making it consistent. The original case and dog tag are included. Below is the description taken from Blade HQ.
