Stinger XL Folding Knife
Ferrum Forge

The Stinger XL is the largest knife Ferrum Forge has made in years. Gone, for now at least, are the gentleman's and EDC utility flippers and back to what Elliot Williamson of Ferrum Forge does best... big bad beasts! With a 4.04" CPM-20CV stainless steel blade and an overall open length of 9", this is definitely a full-size knife. The handle scales are 6Al4V titanium, as are the screws, standoffs, and pocket clip. The usual FFKW hardware is in this knife including caged thrust bearing, a hardened D2 tool steel lock insert with an integral overtravel stop, and Ceramic Hoback Roller Detent. Elliot gave this knife jimping on the thumb rest part of the spine and the flipper tab, as well as sizable deployment aperture for middle finger and thumb flicking fun. If you were a fan of the highly limited Stinger SM-100 model but its size or its price tag wasn't necessarily for you, this larger Stinger XL will fill all the holes its brother left behind.
