Okay, its time to fess up to what you carried today!

Me- Yellow CV Case peanut, Vic classic in keyring sheath.

Things cut- some jute twine, mail opened, Foil seal thing on top of new bottle of windshield washer fluid.

Same thing I have carried for over two years now...... Vic "Farmer". Not very exciting or traditional I know. I think the Case Stockman needs to go back in the pocket for awhile :roll eyes:

Heading out soon for an evening with the woman, gonna carry that new Camillus Moose that came today!

Boker 3 7/8" stockman. It's a beautiful knife with washboard bone scales.

Funny you should mention that...

I had my Case Mini Copperhead with Wharncliff in my pocket this morning. I went home at lunch, and after thinking about your Peanut topic, I swapped it for my yellow delrin CV Peanut... And I had just put the Copperhead in my pocket earlier this week, after carrying my Vic Soldier for weeks before that!

And I just learned of the Case Small Congress in yellow/CV. Hmm.... It has a Wharncliff, too...

Well, today it's a Vic Classic on keychain, and a red, pocketworn Case Russlock in my pocket. So far the Russlock has been used to open the envelope my paycheck came in, open a couple envelopes here at work, and slice some stuff for my lunch.

Delica 4, Boker Subcom, Larry Ramey TI necker.

I just got a BRKT from The Last Confederate, Going on my hip this evening!

I wanna play!

SAK Super Tinker
AG Russell Woodswalker
Cleared pocket space for Case Medium CV Stockman

Didn't cut anything today. Do have a salami at home, now that I think about it. I wonder if salami fat would make for a nice blade protectant for a CV blade....

No, but fish guts make a really neat blueish patina!

Sorry I'm going off-topic, but a food safe oil (salami fat) (rust prevention) and slight acidity (actaully the salami i have is made with red wine) (patina)...

I don't know, but from what I read on this Forum, that's so crazy it just might work.

Or not.

A double blade 1974 Case XX #6202 1/2, dot series knife with half stops and the nicest thinnest liners and springs(we will never see workmanship like this again) you ever want to see. And with Good old carbon steel..

I bid nearly nothing on this knife on the bay and won because it had gobs of corrosion and some slight pitting.. But after 2 days in a mineral oil bath and about 5-6 hours of hand sanding.. finishing at 1500 grit, she is a fine user!..

Vic SAk tinker, Case Amber bone Canoe, Case Amber bone trapper in my pockets. Svord and an Opinel in my message bag and a Old-Timer bare head Trapper liner lock in my jacket pocket.

Good looking cleanup there, Anthony! Classy knife and beautiful scales.

Today, like yesterday, even though I was in jeans, I was carrying the ofen mentioned of late, Case, smooth-bone, mini-trapper in TruSharp. As usual I also had a well worn SAK Classic in my left pocket.

For a brief time this morning while taking the dog out, I just stuffed a sheath knife, a Boker 519HH, in my front pocket.

I wanted to carry a pre-USA Case XX Barlow from a friend on here yesterday, but just couldn't go out without that mini-trapper. So, I put the mini in my watch pocket and the Barlow in my main pocket. Problem solved! :D

What did I cut? Fruit, mail, plastic, stuff.

Today I carried my Victorinox tinker and my Case 3254. They are a common combo for me.

Me? Case 64047P Punch blade stockman. I did a quick pruning job on a gardenia bush with it, and sliced some bread for a sandwich.

A Vic Cadet and a Benchmade Leopard Cub. I cut some cardboard and string line.

Queen CSB Large Teardrop (swell-end jack), and a really old (1930?) Kent penknife (think the handle is celluloid, looks like yellowed mother-of-pearl).

Opened a box at the mail box with the pen knife, pulled out a cheerfully cheap Imperial electrician's knife that I got from ebay for 2 bucks plus shipping. As soon as I put an edge on it, it is my new truck knife. It will sit in the glove box and wait to be needed. I gave the last one, an Opinel, to a friend when we went rabbit hunting and he had no knife. Well, he had a Victorinox key-chain thingie with a pen and a USB storage device in it. Not a rabbit-cleaning tool, for certain!

It was the only pocket knife he ever owned!!

Yellow handled Case Wharncliff Copperlock (CV) and later the Clip Point Mini Copperlock (CV).
