EDIT* I am now paid in full and we are square. Sean has been very understanding and professional about all of this. Again, I would like to reiterate that this was not the norm in dealing with him. I believe this was a unique situation, all of our past trades have been very good with no B.S. and I would expect that to continue. Thank you Sean for being a standup guy about this.



On July 12 Sean and I agreed to a trade, he was to trade me a Svord kiwi machete and a Al-mar for a knife of mine and a hammer.

I sent my trade, he received it, said he was happy, and I received the Al-mar. He was going to send the Svord.

August 25 I emailed him and asked about the Svord. He said that he had bought one and was going to send it out that week.

September 15 I emailed him back and asked where it was, he said that he sent it out around the twelfth.

September 24 he emailed to tell me that he thought it was lost in the mail and wasn't going to show up.

October 1 he agreed to set up a PayPal account and just send me the money for the Svord.

I emailed him on the 9th and again yesterday and have gotten no response. He has been posting here today but no reply.

I actually really like Sean, I didn't want it to come to this. He seams like a hell of a guy and we had done several deals in the past with no issues but for some reason he just won't fulfill his end of this deal.

I would wait to get his side of the story. If you ve had good dealings with him in the past I would be surprised that he would screw you now. Something may have happened. He might be in some kind of trouble? Like I said I would let him respond before you smear his name on here. But I guess you kinda already did that. Give him a chance to explain himself!
 
He has had since July to explain his trouble, I have been extremely patient. Also, I was not smearing his name, I just explained the situation as it happened.
 
NZ to the USA is a long way indeed. It certainly could be that the Svord is yet to arrive if it went out around 14th September you know?

If you've has positive deals with him before then it should be alright, he seems a very decent open bloke to me.
 
It could still show up. It usually takes two weeks but who knows. I honestly don't even know if he shipped it. When he finally said he shipped it, it was after I sent him an email asking if he was ever going to send it out. His email only said "middle last week"...... That was 3 weeks after he said it was going to ship out. Really, for three months now, he only responds after several emails and its usually another excuse as to why its not here. It seems I may be in the minority here but I think that 3 months is a little unreasonable.
 
My apologies to you ..This will be rectified first thing tmro morning..I have been working on site since i last contacted you and have only been able to get on this site via a friends I-phone..I will send you a pic of receipt of when i sent Svord to you..I have traded and recieved many knives over the last few years and lost several in the post,also i would not EVER! not fix any deal with anyone.....again my apologies for the excessive time this has taken......FES
 
Thank you Sean. I received your email and appreciate the apology. I realize that this is not the way either of us wanted it to turn out but my patience wore thin. I also realize that this is not the norm in dealing with you as we have had many good trades that I was very happy with. I have no hard feelings towards you and I hope that the feeling is mutual. I will update this thread with the final outcome.

Perhaps you should edit your original post. A lot of people dont read past posts #3-4.
