A Gränsfors Bruk axe in excellent condition.
Stamped with "Gränsfors" and the number "7" by the poll. This axe was probably forged sometime around 1970.
Made from high quality Swedish steel. Very hard edge. The axe comes sharp, ready to use. The axe is hung on a hickory handle, a solid fit. Beautiful blend between orginal black paint and the dark patina.
The total weight (including handle) is 1.02kg (2.25lbs). The axe (including handle) is 52cm (20.5in). The edge measures 8.5cm (3.3in).
Works great for lighter felling tasks and woodworking.
