i just bought he axes after speneding some time over at the other sub forum and went with the wetterlinkgs. never been much of a axe guy but these puppys are great choppers. i got the 19" and the 13.5" for my pack. heres a few pics.

heres a zebra cup for boiling water trying to find a nalg. bottle for it still. but it is very well made. there is also a zebra pot it works well when cooking for more than one.

I like the axes, I think they will serve you well.:thumbup:
My ax was getting a workout today in helping feed the fire, the wind chill was 7F to 9F at the time.

I like the Stainless Steel Cup and Pot too.:cool:

I have both the axes you show, and after some minor reprofiling, they are among my favorite axes for camp use.
 
I still want to get the small Wtterlings hatchet. They are such great tools and less expensive than the GB's
 
Nice ones. I just got the small Wetterlings hatchet a few days ago - it was my first decent quality axe and its been a lot of fun so far. Oddly enough its actually sold by Husqvarna (the Swedish chainsaw company) here in Australia. I'd love to get that 19" but unfortunately Husqvarna don't seem to bring that one in. Next size up is the Wetterlings 26", which is probably bigger than I really need. Might have to be a Granfors next time...

i agree there this is my first decent axe i've ever owned. my fisk. are nice but don't have the same balance as the wetterlings.
