After looking at some of Johns early work, I dug out a few of my first ones. The Black Micarta is the Super Duty which is 6 inch blade of 3/16 01 it is 1 1/2 inches tall. A real brute. The brown Micarta is my Camp Cook kinfe with is 6 inches by 1 1/8 in 1/8 inch 01. The super duty was convexed by siguy. The Oak handle is my first of three Nessies from JK and is in 1/8 steel. What these three knives can't do, probably don't need done. OK! they don't fillet fish real well.:D

Where the heck have I been. I don't remember seeing Nessmuks from John. I love 'em.
The Super Duty looks like it will live up to its name.

I don't believe you could find a tougher six inch blade than the Super Duty. He builds them all like tanks.

I bet it is. Also look at his Field knife, fantastic size (about 6 inch blade) and convexed edge is a laser.

That Super Duty is the only one in existance. It was actually one of my favorites.

I don`t do many Nessmuks anymore, they, along with the Kephart, don`t seem popular anymore.

I'm late to the party as always. I have been looking more at Nessmuks than any other style lately. They seem to have a very practical design but what do I know.

They are a practical design, I like them, and will still make them if there is any interest.
