Just a few pics from my short local walk today, Snicker managed to get ditched in muck, she needs a little more ground clearance !!!!

This was where we went.....

Snicker follows Maisy everywhere now and copies everything she does !

Maisy headed over the bridge so she could get to the water....her shadow had to follow !

Snicker ain't sure about following Maisy into the water yet but she won't be long !!!

Maisy chews a stick so Snicker does the same !!!

And as this is a knife forum this is my usual carry when walking local.....

I wish my dogs stuck around like yours do :o

Mine would run off and never be seen or heard of again :D

I also agree that seeing those two learn like that is really cool

I assumed it was just the natural foliage colours, lol!

Great pics again!

Your actually right buddy, the camera ain't nothing special. We get dramatic colours here but that's only because of all the rain we also get !!!! Nothing comes without a cost !!!!!:(

Snicker is cute! Love the pics as always.

Haha! The colours are beautiful, all those ferns and mosses. My aunt moved to Vancouver years ago, she told me they get 80" of rain a year there and refused to believe me when I told her Birmingham only gets 27". It seems to mostly fall just before a hike though!

Edit: Hmm, looked it up on the web and it seems Vancouver only gets 44" of rain a year. My aunt must have been mistaken unless she lived in a specially rainy bit.

Great pics as usual pitdog, thanks for posting!:) I have two beagles, and can't let them off leash, but I wish I could, it would make hiking easier.

A fellow beagle owner :D as I said earlier, she would run off and never be seen again :o

They get a wiff of something and take off with their nose to the ground :p

When I was training Maisy I would keep hiding from her so that she panicked and in turn would not stray too far incase she lost me ! It seemed to work !!!!

I'll have to try that next time I have her with me :)

Look like Snicker's has a good teacher. Maisy seems to like the student. That is to cool to see that! LOL Great pics as always Pit

Great pics, Pitdog. The shots of Maisy and Snicker working in tandem are priceless.

Looking forward to seeing some of that bare ground in these parts soon.

All the best,

- Mike

Great pics! Love to see how th elittle one tries to copy everything Maisy does. What a wonderful sight.

Maisy and Snicker remind me of my dogs. Molly leads, Maggie follows! Problem is Maggie is a little over 3 months old now, and is bigger than Molly, who is 8! Like my wife says, pets keep you young.
