few shots of my modified BK9

Did you cut it with a metal-cutting bandsaw or with an angle grinder?

Use a belt grinder to grind and smooth it down?

Looks awesome!

that thing is BEAUTIFUL!

How did you do it? Hacksaw?

Seax is one of my favorite designs and that thing is soooo close to it, may have to pick up a 9 just to turn into a seax

Nice work. Just curious, I am new to knives and am wondering what use a lanyard like that has? It doesn't look like the loop part is big enough to go around your wristh/thumb (however you do it) to help keep the blade in hand when chopping?

Is it just for storing more parachord?

The cut was made with an angle grinder and cleaned up with a belt grinder and some elbow grease. Thumb ramp was knocked off with the belt grinder.

Call it a beck- lok , how does it Baton?

Haven't had the chance to do much chopin', other than some innocent 2x4's.

In this case, the lanyard really does nothing. Normally I would have really bright colored 550 cord (hunter orange?) on my camp knives to make them easier to find when I inevitably set them down in the leaves, unfortunately I still need to order some more.

That's not a BK9! Looks more like a BK7&3/4!;) Seriously though, it looks pretty cool. What is the actual blade length now?
