Today, I’d like to drop a FF/Massdrop buc on the table for your viewing pleasure. This was the first Massdrop piece I’ve bought, and I was quite impressed with the materials, fit & finish, and action, at this price point.
This is the blue ano’d variant (it looks darker in the pics than it does to my eye, although my color vision isn’t the best).
Carried for a few days, test cut a piece of paper. That’s all. I’m sure there are some small snail trails on the clip and maybe some tiny super faint ones on the scale if viewed in the right light, but I couldn’t really capture them (or see them) in the pics. Flips nicely, locks up tight (slightly early, call it 40%) and falls shut under its own weight. Perfectly centered when closed.
