Yeah there's quite a difference, you actually got down to the meat of the tree that time. That added weight really helps out.
Boy Porkshankerson looks like your really working up a thirst. :D

you better start using your left hand a bit for your reviews bro or you are going to end looking like quasimodo !!

They say it ain't over till the Fat Misstress Sings! That's a heck of a big difference. :)

Thanks guys. :D

Like I try and tell people FAT is the real deal when it comes to chopping.:D

Thin is what? ;)

What was that? ;)

I haven't seen a BUSH wacking comparison yet. Everyone who has ever used the FFBM knows it can chop well. :D

I know it can, I just wanted to remind some people and make a point that thick is were it's at. :D :cool:

If you want to chop, buy an axe or kukri. If you want to do knife tasks, buy a BWBM.

Thin is most certainly where it's at.

Not by the video it's not were it's at. ;)

I have Khurkies and an Axe too. ;)

HI Khurki videos will be made soon along with the NMFBM video after it gets here. :D

Love the Vids. I did a chop off between a machete and my FBMLE. The Machete whooped some behind until I hit really hard wood and then the FBMLE just kept on going.

I would say for soft live wood a thin machete will eat up a thicker shorter blade but it is when you are dealing with HARD WOOD that the thick monsters really shine. Just my 2 cents:cool:

Oh I know that, a Machete with those long blades with do some damage on soft wood.

But like you said on the hard stuff it's different, light thin blades just bounce off instead of really biting like the heavier blades will. :)

I gave up my matchetes for Khurkies a long time ago because of that.

It seems as if we completely agree:)

I never gave up on machetes though.

I only use an axe for splitting wood.

I use a chainsaw for the big stuff.

If I need to trim up the trees around the house the machete is KING!

I have thinner bladed Khurkies with long blades to take the place of a machete when needed, still a lot thicker than a machete though. :)

2nd one down is the machete replacement.

I never have used Khurkies. I probably should try one out:thumbup:

Maybe when Busse releases a production version;)

I love this thread. Thick choppers, thin choppers, long and short ones. I think I just love choppers. :D
