Got my FFBM today, thanks Dan.

Stripped with Black and Red G10 Mags and it's awesome. Heavier than my CGFBM, noticeably heavier. The edge was convexed and OK sharp, but I will get it Air Bleeding sharp once I take the Edge Pro to it.

Much thicker than the CGFBM is on the right.

Fusion treatment is just a little different.

Blade is a lot fatter.

Great score man! The FFBM is my Busse grail knife for sure. I still have not found a better chopper :thumbup:

Enjoy and please post some destruction pics!!

Nice. Nothing makes a Saturday like Busse at your door! I had a visit from the FFBM fairie a couple of Saturdays ago, myself. Its off at the tailor's getting some pants.

Its new to me, but I got it in trade from 230 Grains, so its probably chopped through concrete walls! :)

No concrete walls.... well maybe a couple... Nah.

It did burn through a couple nails though that where in some wood.

Congrats man, like mine it's already broken in so I won't feel bad about really beating it up. :D

Congratz on THE real chopper.

Thanks Man. :D

Congrats! What a beast.

Yes it is. :D

Nice Score and its already broken in, a real heavy duty Chopper!

Yeah I am gonna have fun with this one.

You'll love it! Nothing you can't get through with it. One of the best, if not the best, chopper yet!

Nice score!

I'd like to get one of those eventually. I ended up picking up a KZ before the FFBM. I'm still on the fence on whether the keep it or trade it for a FFBM. Although, I should try chopping with the KZ first.

Well I couldn't wait, had to take the Edge Pro to it, it's Air Bleeding sharp now. It didn't take too long either. :D

Now it's ready for action.

Thanks. :)

Man that edge looks like a mirror scary:eek: sharp! I'm going to have to get one of those sharpmakers. I'm not the best at sharpning knives. Now comes the CHOP-OFF! Nice,  D,

It's is, you can shave in it literally.

I am gonna do the chop off tomorrow, I can tell the BWM doesn't have a prayer just by the feel of the FFBM. ;)

Thought of sharpening forum members knives? No worries/no power tools.

Just a thought:)

I have thought about it, if someone needed it done I am sure we could work something out. :D

It took me 2 hours to re profile and take it up to 6,000 grit polishing tape on the Edge Pro.

Sounds like a good deal to me:cool:

It's not too bad unless the edge needs to be re profiled, that takes the most time, the rest is pretty quick. :)

If I did it on a Sharpmaker it would take me 2 days to do the same thing and it wouldn't be near as sharp or perfect. ;)

That 120 grit waterstone moves some metal I can tell you. :D
