What is it that differentiates between a Fat Fusion BM and other mistresses? Is it just the thickness?

Just curious because I've got an FFBM inbound soon.

Thanks!

FFBM: Saber Grind .32 (32 oz)
CGFBM: CBT .25 (26.6 oz)
FFFBM: Full Flat Grind .32 (?oz)

NMFBM, SHBM, ASHBM, BWM, MOABM, etc. ----- are all different with different blade profiles, thicknesses, handles, etc.

Busse collector should have weights / thickness ect, as far as preference imho the cgfbm is an absolute perfect knife, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a battle grade version pop up soon.

Original FFBMs were saber ground. I believe other FBMs that had flat grinds but were just as thick as FFBMs were called FBMs by Busse; so basically, no such thing as an FFFBM.

The best answer yet.

Ok so another question then. What were the Superman FFBM differences?

Seem to recall that the name was the Fat Flat FBM, no?

I just hope the next battle mistress is more along the ffbm, nmfbm, cgfbm style design. Those skinny straight handle battle Mistress's didn't really do it for me.

One less spine scallop on the cgfbm than the others & CBT. Otherwise mostly just thickness.

The majority of FFFBM's are LE's, though there are a few others in the wild, I know there were some stealth versions at Blade '12

Yes indeed having a mistress is addictive :D
I wouls be interested in:
-sr101 fbm
-0.25 inch flat or sabre ground (other than cbt)
-maybe even a choiless fbm !

Pretty sure that there were two Fs before the FBM ... but that was a lot of bourbon ago ...

I've seen people use FFBM and FFFBM interchangeably (and know they mean a fat Busse Mistress) so it's all the same to me. I just wish I was around when Skunk was selling them from the Company Store.

A Battle Grade FBM would make Busse a killing.

=MAX= has the exact specs. this allows the cgfbm to chop anything in under 12 parsecs.

Well I'm definitely not using them interchangeably --- they were listed separately. The CGFBM and FFBM we all already know and often see. The FFFBM is a variant of the FFBM/FBMLE in which it is a flat grind rather than the saber grind. I only own the CGFBM and the FFBM.
