FFBM vs Other BM

While I agree the ASHBM is a great knife, I will take the FBM LE all day, every day
 
I tried to love the ASHBM... I did.... ask elof_alv, I have tried and tried... I mean a big mistress at factory prices...I WANTED to love it.....but alas I will take a (F)(F)FBM or NMFBM everytime. One of my FBMs is a Flat Ground Fatty and the other a Sabre Ground. Either will do thanks... ;)

I have both thanks-the FBM LE all day every day, By the way the NMFBM will out chop both-and yes I have one of those to
 
I got my FFBM at the Company Store and I believe Skunk used both Fat and Flat to describe them before their frenzied release and immediate selling out. That's where I got mine. FWIW I have one of each of the coated BMs sold the past decade and the CGFBM with CBTs is my favortie.
 
Thanks for all the info guys. Mine is going to be the FFBM Superman with the Coral Handles that was on Knifehunter. I'm excited to get it
 
Some cognoscenti hold that the 2007 SE FBM from Blade was the best of all. 0.27", flat grind. Wish that I had kept mine. I think Cobalt stole it from me.


 
I'm hoping a FBM pops up soon for a new offering...I would go for either Infi or a SR101....been wanting one for awhile! I have a ASHBM that is amazing....love to get a FMB and put them head to head!

That is absolutely true. The 2007 FBMSE is the best FBM of all time. Only aspect that can be improved are the handles; I'd have preferred micarta. They're rarer than hen's teeth around here though.
 
Aight, I will bring an ASHBM to blade,. Bring an FBM and lets see which is best. Chopping and throwing tests.
