FFFBM or NMFBM?

Yes,for me RussMo and RoyalM have found the same as I have. I would go further and say for a knife you want as a good chopper but can also do a Machete job very well a convexed NMFBM is a great choice....I think that type of knife i.e. a convexed NMFBM is probably Jerry's best working knife to date...and I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out which is the best in each category. Many are very close if not inseperable to the other....but a light ( i.e.modified stripped CG ) fully convexed NMFBM is for me noticeably better when it comes down to all round use and having to carry the knife.

Machete's are lighter but you will have a brew on and able to have a nice smoke by the same time as you will have dropped a sizeable tree with a Machete....these NMFBM's work a lot quicker than a Machete at hard tasks and can go at their pace for cutting a path or trimming grasses if you have a bit of fitness and arm strength to call upon.
