Here's an interesting little balisong.
An FHM (Filipino Hand Made) labeled "Pandayan" on the latch.
I believe this is NOT a Custom made Armand Palacio bali from his Pandayan line, like the ones with heavy stainless channel construction handles.
This may just be a shorter stubby thick bladed FHM with "Pandayan" on it to show the style from the region???
If you have any further info, feel free to add.
I am NOT selling this as an Armand Palacio as obviously seen by the price.

Regardless, It shares AP's thick blade style, but is smaller than his last full size offerings.
It is however, larger than his "mini pands".
It differs considerably from his custom balis, since this has traditional FHM style handles.
It is 7 3/4" overall with a 3 1/2" blade that has a 2 1/2" edge.
With handles closed, it's a hair over 4 1/4".
Blade is heavy for its size since it's so thick.
Balance is off, since the handles are so light, made of either aluminum or light steel.
Handles have a thin folded liner and pinned bolsters and an inlay (kamagong?).
Blade is great, but the handle has scratches, SEE PICS.
NOT a great flipper, but an interesting piece for the collector.
It was very tight when I got it, but I have managed to loosen it a bit to the point where it can flip,
it's limited though, by its weight dynamics.
I was considering rehandling it, but that wouldn't be for a while.
So here's a chance for another collector to do as they wish to it.
