The Fiber Press is a product I invented over the past two years to make great looking sets of Micarta Knife Scales
as fast and efficient as possible. Each set of custom knife scales comes out of the Fiber Press (Pro Press-2)
2" wide x 1/4" thick and up to 12" long depending on the materials used. The base plates and spacer bars are 1/4"
thick steel and precision cut from a Laser CNC Machine. The spacer bar holes are tapped and securely fastened
to the bottom base plate. All steel was then professional powder coated with a nice smooth finish
and perfect for Making Homemade Micarta Knife Scales.

The Fiber Press (Pro Press-2) is only $59.00 each plus flat rate shipping.

This is one of my first demonstration videos on how easy it is to make any types of micarta knife scales with the Fiber Press (Pro Press-2)

I know I'm Brand New to Bladeforums and I'm just starting to get the word out about the Fiber Press. (The site went live yesterday)

What I would like to do is send one of my presses to another Custom Knife Maker already established on this site "For Free"
if you'd be willing to do an honest video review. Please let me know if you're interested in making the easiest batch of Micarta you've ever made.
I'll get one sent out a.s.a.p.

Thanks
Jake

Welcome to Bladeforums Jake!

Your press looks great, I used to make a bit of my own handle materials and the pressing was tricky to get right.

I'd really like to try it out and will do a video review. I'm in! :D

This video shows my Pure Glow scales. https://youtu.be/VccMWhG3d0Y I have also made glow burlap, camo, paracord mycarta, black glow... fun stuff! Thanks for the chance.

I'm interested. I'm no established name but I would like to know how much shipping to the European mainland would be.

Hi Daniel,
Please message me where to send it and I'll get one of the presses sent right out.
Looking forward to seeing what you create.

BTW - I watched several of your videos and I'm very impressed with your work. (Especially the Icy Blue Friction Folder)

Do you make a framelock for that design?

Hi Alexander,

I looked up the shipping charges for the same sized flat-rate box shipped any where in the US.

The bad news is it costs $50 more when adding in the free shipping built into the price (Approx. $62 to send there)

The good news is you can have two presses sent for the same shipping cost :) (They weigh almost 10 pounds each)

Will do, I really appreciate your generosity. I am excited to check out the press, it really looks great.

Thanks for the kind words also! My RF2 Framelock is a bit along the lines of the friction folder and mt first Framelock, the RF1. I'm finalizing plans for a flipper framelock that will utilize a handle shape very close to the friction folder with a Wharncliffe blade (like my Backpacker model).

I checked out your sites and your work is top notch all around!

My press is in! (have had it a few days) It got here in about 2 days and is just as solid as can be.

Look out for more soon, I'm excited to test this out... looks very promising!
