Are you guys interested in good quality backpacking tarps from Fiddleback Forge?

Im looking to buy a nylon tarp 10x12. id be interested to see what your going to offer.

I'm listening. I was going to pick up an equinox or integral designs one soon, but I'll hold off a bit....

What I'm looking at to start is the Etowah Outfitters 10x10. Exactly like the ones BCUSA had done in their small run, but hopefully cheaper.

"Made with 1.9oz. nylon taffeta or rip stop, coated with 1/2oz. of urethane, with 3/4in.webbing tabs evenly spaced along the edges. 10' x 10' & 12' x 10' tarps come with three tabs place evenly along the center seam."

My aim is to be able to offer it for $60 rather than the $70 which is standard.

Ideas for other outdoor products I could have manufactured and sell as Fiddleback products greatly appreciated.

Survival Kit knives that fit into altoid tins are huge with the WSS guys. Something you could make really well, I imagine. If you haven't already. :foot:

Leather pouches/pockets/cases for firekits and other stuff would be cool, if a possibility. Brand your spider onto them somewhere. When I'm looking for leather pouches/pockets/cases for bushcrafting stuff, I can never find anything that is just right. Either it is cheaply manufactured, too big or small, or very poorly handmade by someone working out of their kitchen. Good quality with good materials would sell well, I would think.

I would love those with minimalist touches... no snaps or zippers... but that's just my preference. Snaps wouldn't be bad at all.

Those beer can coozies that have your name on them are great freebies. Maybe Maxpedition bottle holders? I'd buy one of them.

My first thought was firesteels, you seem to have access to some really nice scales.

Andy, what would YOU like to market?

Andy, I like your tarp idea. I've been wanting one about 10x10 but most are to expencive. I could probably swing $60 for one.

The tan BCUSA one or the camo BCUSA one...? 5 X 7 Ground tarp..? Yea, I'm most likely in.

I agree that small survival knives would be a hit, as long as the price was kept, I don't know around $50 or so.
The question that comes to mind is what can you provide best to the outdoor market
and for a good price, tarps would be a good start in my opinion.
I would try to keep everything in house, that way you do not have another
company messing up your reputation.
I am actually in need of a new tarp, as are a few others it seems.
