Fiddleback Backpacking Tarps

Not a BCUSA issue, its. Etowah issue, try finding one anywhere. Bens Backwoods also is out of stock. BCUSA will have a bunch in stock in April. Even a new multicam one.

Its time for me to make a final decision and place an order. Thats where we are now. Getting quotes on Zippos also.

I'm up for a tarp as soon as my tax return gets here.

What price are you looking at for the Zippos? I've been thinking of getting one for a while.

I like the bandanna idea a lot, but please make sure they are in mens size- like somebody who's noggin is around the 130th percentile.......

The Zippo's are kind of prohibitive. Unless I choose a regular looking silver one they're really expensive, and the final price would be high. I'm not too into the silver ones. I was hoping for tan on brown, kinda like the coozies.

How about some rough, unfinished but sharpened blade blanks. You would just have to profile, sharpen and ht. No polishing the scale, no handles.

Every bandana out there is from China. I've looked and looked for a US manufactured bandana, can't find one. Either way, 27" by 27" is the way to go. The "normal" sized ones make good snot rags, and that's about it.
The large ones, seem a bit large at first look, but can be used in so many more ways.

I've played around with a contractors size pencil sharpener. I can make fire tender and tent stakes at the same time, if the stick fits into the sharpener. I don't know if you guys have tried one of these, but it works. I got a couple for $1.69 each, at Lowes or HD. If there was even a larger one, that had a stronger blade, I'm thinking machined aluminum, and a changeable blade. Maybe that's too expensive, ideas?

How about some stick tang mora-like blade blanks?

I am already selling blade blanks. And machete blade blanks also. Just contact me to see what I have in stock.

Guys, I decided not to compete with BC USA on the tarps. As a member there, I just didn't see that as the right thing to do. I'm trying to get pancho's lined up, but not getting far. Blade Show is taking all my time now.
