For sale is my Bow Legged Chopper.

This was Andy's personal piece and was the first Bow Legged Chopper made - see the pics at this thread to confirm:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/654927-Bow-Legged-Chopper

It was cleaned up and resharpened by Andy, sold, then resold to me. Neither I nor the previous owner have used it. It comes with a padded case. The only wear is some patina on the blade flats that is hard to photograph, and a stain on the butt:

Specs... full tang 1/4" thick 5160 steel with full convex grind and microbevel. The blade is about 10" long and handle is 6". Handle material is a black and tan canvas micarta laminate with steel pins and bullseye lanyard tube.

SOLD

Thank you!

He made a kydex sheath for it, but he wasn't hugely proud of it. When he did a batch in 2009 he mailed them with padded cases, so my guess is that the case came from Andy and the sheath he made wasn't shipped with it.

Both Rick Lowe and Heber Ellsworth confirmed they can make a leather sheath for it (with or without shoulder strap) and both can work from a cardboard tracing, so you wouldn't need to mail it off to get one made.

I've been looking for one of these for a few years now so I'm gonna have to take it. Email inbound
