From the moment you lay eyes on its stunning and well contured handle you have high expectations of the Filddleback Bushcraft Jr. This knife does not disappoint.
The fit and finish are excellent as Andy at Fiddleback Forge is a true artisan.

The knife is 7.75" overall. The 3.5" 0-1 steel blade is perfectly convexed and arrived laser sharp. The blade thickness is 5/32. The knife weighs approximately 5.3 oz. My knife has an ironwood and osage handle and a mosaic pin.

My knife arrived with a really beautiful Fiddleback sheath. Something that I am told is becoming more rare.

Before taking the knife out into the field a quick stop in the kitchen to slice some tomato for my daughter's sandwich.
My wife gave the knife a try and was very impressed at how this 5/32" blade sliced the tomato better than out thinner kitchen knives.

A quick exit before my wife gets ideas about this knife living permanently in out kitchen.

Out in the woods the Bushcraft Jr. easily and almost effortlessly handled the regular bushcraft tasks

I used the spine of the knife to prepare some fatwood to take a spark.

The Fiddleback Bushcraft Jr. will see a lot more woods time with me. It would be a great knife to have a part of a woods trio.

Thanks for the great work Andy.

That is a gorgeous knife! The handles on his knives are second to none. Great looking sheath also.

I can't wait until I own one of his knives. Thanks for a well written review.

great review... andy makes some cool knives.... his handle contours are spot on... i got to handle one of these yesterday.. BOOMSTICK scored one recently... i loved it...:o

I scored one of these recently off the exchange. Mine has an orange handle and came with a Jeff H kydex sheath. I carry it almost every day! Great tool!

Great review Ira. Andy makes an awesome blade and one of the most addicting handles in a knife I have ever owned.

That is a sweet review bro. Nice to see you're using the knife too! Ironwood is both beautiful, and wears well too, so give it hell.
