The Bushcraft Karda is a fullhandled, small bladed knife. Its a great utility design and the Scandi grind makes this knife one wicked cutter. The knife is 7 1/4" long with a BIG 4.5" handle, and a small 2.75" blade. This one is a stunner with natural linen micarta bolsters and Shadetree Emerald Burlap scales! The steel is a robust 5/32" thick 3D spalted 01 with a wicked convex sabergrind! $280 shipped with sheath!

First knives are meant to just plain old cut. Thats the fun of the first one. A brand new cutting tool you made yourself. Don't get bummed about the appearance of it. Use it and learn from it and make #2! I've made 800 knives. While its not uncommon for a guys 1st to be better than one I make today, it still hurts. LOL. Take your first with a grain of salt. #2 will be twice as good.

Thanks Sandgrouper! Knife is SPF.

amflud, I know. There are a lot of upsells in that one. The base price is a more reasonable $195. I can't use that shadetree stuff for free though, and those bolsters take time to make.

I'm sorry Andy, I didn't mean to imply that I thought it wasn't worth it because I know it is (^^proof^^). What I meant to say was my budget is too tight right now. I'll do a better job of proof reading my posts from now on.

No problem Amflud. I wasn't miffed. I like the user market, and try to service it. Thanks for the kind words.

Andy,

I love the lines of the Bushcraft Kardas. Any chance that you might put a few of those together in one of your upcoming batches? Something with Osage scales on brown linen micarta liners?
