I got my fiddleback bushcrafter jr yesterday. Its an awesome knife. Andy is a magician at shaping a handle. Its as if he measured my hand prior to making it. It fits that good. Balance is great, finish is superb, and it is sharp as hell. Chopped a bunch of veggies with it lasy night, and it performed wonderfully.

I am really liking the 5/32 thickness. Not too thick, but still has some heft to it. This knife screams to be used.

His leather is awesome as usual, wonderfull fit, and gorgeous tooling.

I have no doubt this thing would make an excellant woods companion.

man.. that is a cool looking knife... i love the wood combo, on the scales.. nice score J.. i wouldn't mind scoring one of those, his latest bushcrafters are a bit different from the one that i have...

great work andy...

The pics dont do it much justice. There is alot of depth to the grain. Ive never owned any Blackwood. Its gorgeous stuff. Makes me kick myself for passin up the koster nessie in blackwood on the exchange a couple days ago........

What is different about yours Mike????

Nice pics Jake! Glad you're liking the knife bro. I really liked the difference the extra 32nd made.

When I made Mike's I was making the blade wider. I don't remember when I changed that. Probably just screwed up a grind and reprofiled the knife and started again, then liked it more.

Jake's is guardless. Some of them had a guard some didn't. I like a guardless knife better, so thats the reason for the differences.

here's mine.... the blade is a bit wider and there is not as much point on this one either... it also looks like when andy changed the width of the blade, he did thesame for the handles.. all in all it is still the same general shape... and a cool knife...

Looking at the thread is close to free. You don't owe me much for that. Because I'm a giver and all...

LaGrange huh? You an Auburn fan? If you get up near Lanier, gimme a holler.

Oh, hey! Didn't realize we were in the same area... I may have to pay you a visit one of these days. :D

Haha, not much of a sports fan, but my sister does live over in Valley. I might have to come pester you for knifemaking help. ;)

Come on by. Beer's cold. My # is on my website I think. If not, e-mail me.
