For sale today I have a Fiddleback Competition Cutter. This knife is a big boy at 15" Oal with a 5.5" handle. The blade is flat ground from 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 tool steel. The handle is Shadetree black and white burlpa micarta with black linen micarta bolster and liners. The pins are natural canvas micarta. The sheath is by Robert Fetner.

Check out that blade finish!!!

Fiddleback: I really like that blade finish! I do a lot of work in O-1, may I ask how you spalted the blade?

Thanks guys. The spalting process is proprietary for now though, sorry guys.

I've held that knife. It's got wonderful balance, the handle is ... well ... a Fiddleback handle, and the edge is nice and sharp from base to tip.

All you need is the willpower to swing that beauty at a 2x4!

Andy you need to post a color photo of the sheath and knife together. That sheath just sets the knife off, really surprised this is the last one from the Blade batch to sell.

Andy that is an awesome knife.

I thought comp cutters needed a 10" max blade and 5" max handle?
I might be wrong though

great stuff

No the OAL has to be under fifteen. IF you wanted to put a 8" handle on it would not matter, as long as it was 15 OAL. And I dont think that this one is ACTUALLY Andy's vison for what he would make for a comp cutter. He just made a knife and then low and behold it was close to the specs so that is what he called it. :)
