Fiddleback fanaticism!!!

As funny as it may sound, I'm addicted to the bullseye lanyard tube. I've purchased several if not all of my Fiddlebacks based off how the lanyard tube pops. Weird? Yes, but that's what I'm into man. I'm really into the scales that highlight the bullseye: Tuxedo, maroon micarta, doublemint. Those configurations really make the bullseye the focal point, for me anyway. Nat canvas scales with nat canvas bullseye filler, not so much.

Functionality is a huge plus too, don't get me wrong. But I'm a very visual creature, aesthetics are uber important to me.
I love the tuxedo handle style....

I am already infected in this Fanaticism , order Two big one , it is just begining..... Till next order.

Well I have come to grips with the hard truth and reality when it comes to Fiddlebacks.... It's hard to admit but I really only NEED one...

Of each....

Oh that was painful to say but true... I am truly on the road to recovery. My therapist will be so proud. :p:thumbup:

"Need"? I don't understand the reference to "need" with respect to purchasing knives. I have an equation for the purchasing of knives that use several metrics as follows:
  • Wife's Mood
  • How much I've spent that the wife doesn't know about yet
  • If it is Friday
  • If the wife will be out of town
  • If there is cash I can hide from the wife and deposit into my PayPal without her knowing
Well, as you can see, there is a somewhat recurring theme to my metrics, but "need" definitely isn't part of the equation :)

Since we're all being honest...

Confession: I literally check every website that sells Fiddlebacks including ebay, every night for possible purchases, unless it was a super busy day. Then it's like "Oh snap! I haven't checked KSF, TKC etc. since the day before yesterday!". Then I check them and see that it's the same batch as before. I give the site a few choice words, then feel shame, but not much.

I think I have mine under control. I can watch the Friday feeding frenzy with an almost resting heart rate and can actually feel good (almost anyway) about other members snatching up my favorites from a batch..

If USPS could just get their act together so I could stop stalking the mailman who was suppose to have delivered my Hunter at least a week ago then everything would be perfect (It's used 2 weeks crossing the Atlantic... :grumpy:)

Is that Hunter you bought from me in 1986?!?!

Yep.. Probably touring Europe as I type or the US since tracking lost showed it in Dallas...

I've been thinking way too much about these two together for a very long, slow week...
