So, someone says they'll take it and goes silent, no payment...
What is a reasonable amount of time to wait?
I always pay within minutes.
Huh. That's an interesting perspective. My apologies if anything I wrote you wasn't clear.
Since we seem to be doing this publicly for some reason, here's what I wrote you:
Cool. I'll take it.
Can I ask a favor before we seal the deal? Can you please send me some current photos of the knife? I'd like to see it from all angles/sides.
Also, can you tell me which Fiddleback Friday this knife came from?
Thanks! Super psyched about this knife.
So then you asked for my email. I provided it.
I haven't seen photos. I don't know what Friday the knife came from so I don't know if you're asking more for it than you paid for it. I also don't know if the knife is used or not (which someone else asked you about).
So...yeah. I don't know what to say. I went fishing after work and didn't expect that being offline for a while would be a problem. I just figured I'd have photos and answers waiting for me when I got home.
If you have another buyer lined up, do your thing and feel free to sell the knife to someone else. I won't take it personally.
If I can offer a piece of constructive criticism here it would be this: Be descriptive when selling a knife. Try to use complete sentences when describing the knife. It's confidence inspiring.
This isn't a lot to go on, man:

Osage
For my part, I'll refrain from saying I'll take a knife before the details I want are fully provided.
