Fiddleback Flea Market Feedback (Good and Bad Trades and Sales)

So, someone says they'll take it and goes silent, no payment...
What is a reasonable amount of time to wait?

I always pay within minutes.

Huh. That's an interesting perspective. My apologies if anything I wrote you wasn't clear.

Since we seem to be doing this publicly for some reason, here's what I wrote you:

Cool. I'll take it.

Can I ask a favor before we seal the deal? Can you please send me some current photos of the knife? I'd like to see it from all angles/sides.

Also, can you tell me which Fiddleback Friday this knife came from?

Thanks! Super psyched about this knife.

So then you asked for my email. I provided it.

I haven't seen photos. I don't know what Friday the knife came from so I don't know if you're asking more for it than you paid for it. I also don't know if the knife is used or not (which someone else asked you about).

So...yeah. I don't know what to say. I went fishing after work and didn't expect that being offline for a while would be a problem. I just figured I'd have photos and answers waiting for me when I got home.

If you have another buyer lined up, do your thing and feel free to sell the knife to someone else. I won't take it personally.

If I can offer a piece of constructive criticism here it would be this: Be descriptive when selling a knife. Try to use complete sentences when describing the knife. It's confidence inspiring.

This isn't a lot to go on, man:

KPH
Stainless
Flawless
Osage

For my part, I'll refrain from saying I'll take a knife before the details I want are fully provided.

Here's a big Thank You to RedBird777.
I bought my first knife through this forum the other day from Cory and he made our transaction as smooth as it could be.

Again, Thank You Cory,

Mark

No surprise here -- Excellent transaction with Phillip (Vance). Also very satisfied with the Blackwood Runt I received from him.

Glad you did. They would have confiscated the package for sure. BTW the other package cleared customs & on its way.

I have purchased several knives from LavaWood. Always smooth transactions with no problems.

Just received my Apache EDC made by Chris at Osprey Knives and wanted to comment on the craftsmanship of his work.
This is a product anyone would be proud to carry and to use.
It will be used for all tasks imaginable and it definitely looks like it will handle anything thrown its way .. Thanks Chris

Mark

Did a trade with Ifinditfunny. Great communication, shipped fast and the knife is beautiful. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

Ya, it was one of those "oh crap" moments when I remembered I was shipping to Australia.

Lol. Seriously though Australian customs have no consistency. Folding knives except slipjoints are a no go. Lucky that fixed blades are no issue. If I wanted a flipper or a one handed opening folder I would have to apply for a permit. You guys in the US are lucky.

The arrowhead would have been cool :)
