Awesome Whitty, just awesome! :D  Can't imagine the words coming out of the poor fella's mouth when he'd realized he lost that knife... ;)

OMG... priceless. You couldn't make this stuff up. Thanks for sharing.

Too funny.

Haha. He is probably just lusting for a new one and doesn't want to admit it.

Dude, I'm feeling his pain x12. I've "misplaced" all my small knives as I had them on a display rack. I remember wrapping them in bubblewrap, a big ball of knives all secured with a few wraps of shipping tape. I was all proud of how I used a roll of bubblewrap to pack so many knives so securely in such an efficient manner. Sitting right there, on the kitchen table. Wrapped them all up, safe, secure, and loved.

But for the love of all things precious, they are not to be found on this side of "the great move west." I think it's 12 or so.... Six mini-muks, three runts, a minnow (I'll sacrifice that one if I have to) two bow legged joes, and a two finger karda. Only thing that keeps me sane is that we left a car in Virginia in storage and I packed it full of stuff before I put it in long term storage, so it may be in there with all my ammo and stuff that the movers would not move.

With my luck, it's probably safely tucked inside the food-processor box or a dutch oven, laughing and tormenting me for a few years until I have the a-ha! moment while making sausage or something that requires the deep dive into the kitchen boxes.

Crap, this picture shows me that I'm missing 14 knives. Anyway, I do have the rack, for what that is worth.

And the exact location of that storage container??? Haha jk I really do hope it's ok there

Priceless. I'm scared to think about how he "lost" a knife that size.

Having had a great uncle and father who were pretty good at keeping the Tennessee Hills corn juice tradition alive, even after my father came back from being sent to Korea as a Marine just because of that tradition, and then having two uncles return home from SE Asia to the low population...and even lower economy of South Georgia / South Alabama with a hole new plan, I could see it getting lost during some sort of E&E activity. Perhaps Whitty should include a kydex sheath with his current order :D
