No time for hard use yet, but I cut a couple small limbs in the yard and was able to get a feel for the knife. The ergos of the handle and size of the blade are just spot on for an all around knife(for me). The cutting edge is exactly 4.5" and the handle is 4.75". The tang appears to be 5/32" and the blade is slightly tapered as is comes out of the handle to about 1/8" thick with a height of 1 3/8". I wanted to post a couple of pics for you guys to admire while you wait for the next Hunter run. I really think this knife is going to be a hit for Andy and anybody who is lucky enough to add one to their collection. It will be my hiking/camping/buming knife of choice.. At least until I can pick up another new blade. :D I fully expect the upcoming run to be full of Hunters.

That is beautiful work, and looks to be a perfect size! Really, really nice!

man.. that is a great looking knife... i really like those Fiddleback hunters... they seem like great all around utility blades... Andy's work is top notch...

damnit I want one so bad :(

I especially like the uniqueness of the way the handles are done, definitely a trademark now, I would imagine..

That is a gorgeous piece of steel. Looks like it would be a great knife for plenty of things. Hunting is one of them, at least it looks like it. Nice score.

You guys are good to me. Thanks!

All you guys who like these can find the signup in the Fiddleback Forge makers forum. A bonus is that you can choose your handle material combos... Sweet!
