The handle was either sand or bead blasted at the forge, giving the handle a textured grip. Handle is thick and feels AWESOME in the hand. Comes with custom sheath by Heber (Wildman) the sheath was custom made for this knife and fits it VERY well, nice & snug! It also has the bearclaw stamps running on the sides of the sheath both front & back.
