Thank you to everyone for all the support. Amy was extremely moved by all the support from complete strangers.

Here's the update on Amy. She has recently stopped working after being hospitalized with the flu. Today she went in to have a bone marrow biopsy done. Chemo starts soon. It's a long fight ahead.

Thanks Phil. Really glad Robert helped raise awareness for Amy and her family. I really hope all the donations help with their burden and all the attention will bring additional thoughts and prayers to assist with the healing.

Well deserved! And, yes thank you Robert for coordinating this.

Just wanted to say thanks again to Robert and the Outpost for giving everyone the opportunity to help Amy and her family. I'm not usually one of those "show the unboxing" kind of guys, but I think this one is deserving and It's nice to show off the care Fiddleback outpost puts into delivering product to its customers.

Great cause and giveaway.

BTW The outpost probably has the best packaging in the business [emoji106]

I also love the knick knacks too... between the survival paracord and the fire stick samples... I'll never not have a fire in an emergency

Here's an update from Amy's close friend from about an hour ago:

Amy started her chemo this past Friday, March 10. It has been rough for her. She spent last night in the critical care unit at kaiser and now she is being transported to Northside hospital. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you for your comments, donations, prayers, etc. Please keep them coming!

The only thing I know about the above post is that there is a concern for clots and pneumonia. I would just ask that everyone keep Amy in your thoughts and prayers.

My wife, Teresa, spoke with Amy over the weekend and she was already having side effects from the chomo. She was in the midst of the chemo kicking in and trying to plan a move at the same time. The money that everyone donated has been a huge help for her and she is "very grateful that so many complete strangers were willing to help her and to send her prayers". She also mentioned that it has been very uplifting during what she describes as a "very lonely experience". Just before chemo, the nurse told her that she should get her hair cut short because the chemo she was going to be on is so strong that her hair won't stick around long. Amy told Teresa that just one day after chemo, she pulled out 30+ strands of hair in the shower. She already was developing mouth ulcers from it as well.

We are planning on doing another raffle to raise more money for Amy...largely to the credit of a massively generous offer by a forum member that donated 2 very nice knives for us to use as incentive to increase donations. I won't mention their name here, because they didn't tell me it was OK to do so yet...but this person has a massive amount of respect from us for being such an amazingly generous human being. I don't have a time frame on the giveaway yet.

Again, thank you to everyone to donated, spread the word and/or sent prayers! It was noticed and appreciated!

Robert,

Trying to send a PM. Your mailbox is full.

I haven't taken the time to clear out the message box on here since I already have to check so many email addresses and social media. I guess I need to do so.

I'll hop over and do it now so you can hit me up.
