BladeForums and other similar sales sites have been plagued by scammers who post or send emails pretending to be a seller.I know I'm a couple years late here - just joined up to hopefully find a Sylverfalcen. Much appreciated!
I see, fair enough. No scammin here, I say! Just fellow blade-enthused folk. Have been on the hunt for a Sylverfalcen.Pokerface

BladeForums and other similar sales sites have been plagued by scammers who post or send emails pretending to be a seller.
Do not respond to emails. BF treats email addresses as confidential. We do not disclose email addresses to members. Wait until the seller responds in the thread.
A favorite trick of scammers is to create an account with a name that resembles the seller's member name. Then they post in the thread and pose as the seller. So if someone posts in the thread, check their post count and membership level before believing they are who they purport to be.
Sellers can repost an item in a new thread after 14 days. So posting in a thread which is older than a couple of weeks has a low probability of success.
The sales forum is more or less separate from the rest of Blade forums. It's like an old fashioned bulletin board like you would find at the super market or the want ad section of a newspaper.I am new to the site and don't know the protocol for how the exchange takes place exactly, so any help from moderator knarfeng or yourself would be appreciated! I just want to pay you for that sweet sweet Falcen, man.
