Fiddleback Friday - 04/17/15

That Tsunami Burlap is stunning. I got it from a secret supplier, Shadetree, the very best.

I had been holding out for a 5/32 version, but lol I don't think that's gonna happen. The Oreo looks awesome. I'll make payment later tonight or tomorrow.

Wow, I had no hope of scoring anything on the phone. You guys that shark on your phones regularly have my respect!

The tangerine burlap is the bees knees :). I hope to get a knife wearing it one day.

Congratulations to you guys. Both of those sets are spectacular!

My friends take care of me when I can't shark on Fridays. I do what I can to return the favor. Maybe you should make friends with Bush Hacker since he is the fastest gun in town every week. It pays to network.

Thanks,

Phil

Thanks Phil, but I think Bill won best in show - that pair is something else.

I couldn't agree more gentlemen. As soon as I saw them I knew what I was going for.

Ok, I'll take the Oreo Raptor.

All yours Mistwalker! Nice choice. We just threw out a 5/32" version of this exact knife because we figured nobody would want it, if only we'd known. ;-)

Remaining knives -

WAS Knives Bison
Valkyrie Rhino
Buckeye Minnow
Blue Jean EDC II
Maroon Bushboot
Black Burgundy KE Bushie - thick handle
bolstered/oreo Sneaky Pete

Thank you!

Hahahaha yeah yeah, I haven't even seen any 5/32 blanks for these when I've been down there :D It's ok though, I am thinking even for the utilitarian uses I want it for, the SFT tang and 2/3 or so grind height will be plenty strong enough :)

I will take the 2015 0417 12 – Bushboot w/ Maroon linen over natural w/ white pinstripes, mosaic pin, SFT Tang, convex on 1/8” spalted 01 steel - $265 as well. I really like the Bushboot. Thanks again, John

Nice score. I stared at that one for a few myself. I love the ones with that one mosaic pin. I like the Bushboot a lot myself. I have a Black Wood I have had for years and still carry some times, and my wife has a blue curly mango one. It's a great model for edc!

Thanks. I got one in madronne a few weeks ago and like it a lot. This dark color looks even better. I have a pocket sheath that fits it nicely and plan to use it for edc.

I'll take the
Rhino w/ Black canvas over natural canvas w/ nat. canvas pins, SFT Tang, Flat ground on 5/32” textured 01 steel, 3 ¾” blade, 8 ½” oal - $225

if it's still available...

Well, I guess if this beauty's still around I'll take:

2015 0417 23 – Ladyfinger w/ Eucalyptus burl over natural w/ white pinstripes, Tapered Tang, convex on 5/32” spalted A2 steel - $340

and..

The Blue Jean Burlap EDC II (couldn't copy and paste 2!), Please!

The Hunter and A2 Ladyfinger are gorgeous, can't believe the Lady is still there. Making it hard to have a no duplicates rule...

PS! The Ladies look even sweeter without a guard ;)

Been hankering for a Ladyfinger for a while, guardless 3/32" stainless hasn't been cropping up so this one looks too good to pass up! The Hunter is a beauty too - looks guardless.

I am so surprised that Ladyfinger lasted as long as it did. If I hadn't already had one in CPM 154, I would have jumped all over it. I think you'll really like the A2 though.
Great score! The Ladyfinger is an all-time classic that is underrated.
